Domestic violence is a crime. Safe Alliance court advocates, including bilingual staff, help victims navigate the court system and get the help they need to be safe.







Victim Assistance works with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault as they navigate the Mecklenburg County court system including both civil and criminal court. Services available include assistance with protective order paperwork (50B and 50C); Court Accompaniment and support for Civil/Criminal DV Court; Safety Planning; Photo Documentation of Injuries; Community Referrals; and Legal Representation.
