Mecklenburg Medical Alliance and Endowment Awards $5,000 to Safe Alliance's Clyde and Ethel Dickson Domestic Violence Shelter Clinic
Last week our Chief Operating Officer, Kathryn Firmin-Sellers went to a luncheon hosted by the Mecklenburg Medical Alliance and Endowment to receive a $5,000 grant awarded to Safe Alliance's Clyde and Ethel Dickson Domestic Violence Shelter medical clinic. Safe Alliance's Domestic Violence Shelter medical clinic cares for survivors and their dependent children. Medical providers who understand the complex issues that arise when domestic violence, poverty, and homelessness intersect provide acute care, education, and referrals in a safe and supportive environment. Safe Alliance is honored to be included among such an impressive cohort of grant recipients. Thank you to the Mecklenburg Medical Alliance and Endowment for helping make the Shelter a place where hope and healing begin.
