The Charlotte Run for Peace has been a part of the Charlotte community for over 15 years. Beginning as a 10-miler winding through South Park, it soon grew into a marathon connecting the campuses of Davidson and Queens College. The event further evolved into Charlotte’s premier marathon that journeyed to Uptown.
The event has taken place at McAlpine Park for the past six years, and recently secured its place as a tradition on Memorial Day weekend. Proceeds from Charlotte Run for Peace directly benefit the Safe Alliance Shelter for Battered Women.
This family friendly event features activities for children including a walk/run. Pets welcome!
Individual and Team registration to be available winter 2013.
