Collection Drives & Kit Building

There are many ways to support Safe Alliance and the survivors we serve through donations and hands-on service opportunities. Our collection drives bring communities together to gather essential items that directly support survivors and their families as they work toward safety and stability.

We also offer three meaningful kit-building opportunities. Our Shelf-Stable Dinner Kits include a recipe card and all the ingredients needed to prepare a simple, accessible meal, helping families enjoy a nutritious dinner with less stress. Our Children's Kits include a small snack and age-appropriate toy and are distributed across our programs. These kits help ensure children feel comforted, cared for, and entertained while their parents receive critical, life-saving services. We also welcome support through Snack Kits, which provide easy-to-enjoy food items for individuals and families accessing our services. These practical kits offer a convenient source of nourishment and comfort during challenging times and are distributed where they are needed most.

If you'd like to organize a collection drive or kit building event, please download (pdf) our client needs list and complete the Collection Drive & Kit Building Proposal Form at least 2 weeks before your event.

We have also partnered with SHARE Charlotte, and through their website they have created an easy way to buy much-needed items for our programs. SHARE Charlotte is your one-stop-shop to making a difference right now in Charlotte, with hundreds of ways to donate, volunteer, and find a cause. In addition, you can order items from the Safe Alliance wishlist on Amazon.
