Dec. 3, 2019

Safe Alliance is kicking off the giving season with #GivingTuesdayCLT! #GivingTuesdayCLT is Charlotte's response to the global Giving Tuesday movement, an international day of giving fueled by social media and collaboration. This popular local movement has influenced more than $24 million in gifts to Charlotte nonprofits and has inspired 15,000+ new donors since 2014.

Join Safe Alliance in celebrating #GivingTuesdayCLT and the season of giving! There's more than one way to participate; in fact, Safe Alliance offers opportunities to make a difference by peer-to-peer fundraising; making a donation; or signing up to volunteer

Peer-to-Peer Fundraising for Holiday Store

Blocks. Crayons. Puzzles. A ball. The holiday lists of our clients' children are shorter than most because, too often, life experience has taught them to think small. Live small. Dream small. Safe Alliance's Holiday Store empowers our clients and their children to enjoy a meaningful holiday shopping experience. Sign up to raise funds for Holiday Store to bring joy to lives that have seen too much turmoil.

Give on #GivingTuesdayCLT

Started in 2012, Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. #GivingTuesdayCLT, Charlotte's response to this movement, is a meaningful opportunity for all Mecklenburg County residents to give back to their community. Dec. 3 is the perfect opportunity to take part in #GivingTuesdayCLT and make a gift to Safe Alliance to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Volunteers play a vital role in helping Safe Alliance bring hope and healing to Mecklenburg County survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Safe Alliance offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities in several programs, including:

Volunteer with Safe Alliance and you can make a difference in the lives of domestic and sexual violence survivors.

We also appreciate donations of gift cards to Walmart, Target, CVS, Rite Aid, etc. to help our clients purchase household needs, prescriptions, and other personal items. Denominations of $10, $20 and $25 are preferred. Thank you!
