Men For Change

For 20 years, Men For Change has been bringing our community together, providing life-saving support for survivors of domestic and sexual assault.  We offer a space where fathers, sons, brothers, and their families can participate in activities throughout the year aimed at ending domestic and sexual abuse.

An issue as important as this deserves year-round focus, and for our 21st celebration of Men For Change, we're switching from a single event to a full year of membership activities with levels starting at just $100. Corporate sponsorships are also available at the $2,500 level, providing signage at all Men For Change Activities, your logo on all campaign print materials, and a table at our Annual Partners Breakfast on October 16. Your donation will raise much-needed funds for those who have been impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. Your support also entitles you to recognition and participation in a range of activities, including:

Receipt of a branded, members-only lapel pin;
Name in the Charlotte Business Journal ad listing Men For Change members;
Free registration on Men For Change team at Walk a Mile In Her Shoes (Apr. 28);
Offer to participate in a volunteer event at the Domestic Violence Shelter (July);
Networking event exclusively for Men For Change members (Sept.);
Invitation to Safe Alliance's Annual Partners Breakfast, with group recognition (Oct. 16);

Thank you to our generous sponsors!

As a Man For Change, I PLEDGE to:

 Not to participate in relationship violence and not to tolerate it in other men.
To take a leadership role in discouraging other men from abusing their partners.
Not to remain a silent bystander, as silence condones abuse.
To challenge men who use sexist language and make degrading jokes or comments about women.
To examine my own attitudes and beliefs about violence, power, control, and entitlement.
To talk with boys and young men about healthy and equitable attitudes and relationships.
To be the husband, father, brother, co-worker, teammate, or friend who says:

I will not silently stand by and allow it to continue.
